Unhappy Swollen tummy

Hi,
I bought mabel home 2 days ago, shes a 8 week old female. Shes had a few episodes of diarrhea, I just thought this was a change of diet. Today her stomach seems a bit swollen and shes had some more diarrhea. Shes eating well and drinking plenty. Do you think theres anything wrong? Shes been wormed according to the rescue centre.

Thanks in advance for any advice
Nula

If your cat has diarrhea, take him to the vet as soo as possible.

Re: Swollen tummy

It is probably the stress of the change of home but it is advisable to have her checked out at the vets. I presume she won't have had her first innoculations yet either. It is possible she does need worming again.

You could take her off her kitten food for 24/36 hours and just feed her cooked white fish with/without a little boiled rice and then gradually reintroduce her kitten food.

I completely agree...

Best to get it checked out first... its more than likely worming but just incase .... you wouldnt forgive yourself if it was something more serious x
