lol - scroll through a few threads and you will see that many of us (not all) don't rate a dry diet at all - very bad for your cats health in our opinion. Try a high quailty 50%+ meat diet or for a cheaper but healthier alternative raw.

Yes, definitely bad advice you've been given at PAH! Dry food isnt the best food for a cat as Spid mentioned. Have a look at this site to understand why Feeding Your Cat** Know the Basi - but in a nutshell, its dehydrating, full of carbohydrates which cats dont need, and protein quality is not always good (often plant proteins are used). Agree with Spid's advice, high meat content, no carb wet foods, or raw, are better.

cant really add more to whats been stated..
If your budget is tight then something like forthglade (the big trays) actually work out cheaper gram for gram than whiskas and felix - even more so if you buy in bulk from a wholesalers like berriewoods. |
