Bravery award accepted.

This thread has already helped myself and at least one other person so I'm glad I started it.

Now my tongue is hurting as I'm biting it so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Raw diet from the butcher

If you order from food4cats the taurine is already sorted out for you so you don't need to add extra or worry

Wow where have you been lately - this is the first 'raw nerve' raw thread I've seen. If they'd all gone this way over the last few months, I'd never have tried it myself and got some fit babies to prove it....

thats a really good point... if you buy your raw diet from a proper supplier it should be a balanced diet, and many will have made sure the taurine content is calculated properly for you!

Hi I was having to order mine from Canada, but Instincts TC have opened another outlet in Germany, this one can use free range organic egg in their mix. So I it has to be ordered on line. I think the more folk demanding Natascha's mix eventually (fingers crossed) she will open one in GB, it would be a lot cheaper. It's the carriage that bumps up the cost, but cheaper now it's only coming from Germany.
They are great at answering any questions. The mix must be put in a freezer after opening.
Don't know if this would be of any help to anyone,
it containes.
organic egg yolk, pasturised milk minerals, calcium lactate, whey protein, psyllium husks, gelatin, omega 3 fatty acids from fish oil, Taurine, kelp, vit b complex thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pyridoxine hydrochloride, panthothenate, choline bitartrate, inositol, PABA, vit E (no artificial ingredients) On the pamphlet it has "FELAMIN" this is a break down of products, using letters, to protect her recipe, as it has been stolen in the past. & no additional supplements are necessary.

Well my OH upset me one day & so I stopped talking to him (now I know some husbands would think this a blessing), well I didn't talk for over a week to him. Not even when he was flick.. flick.. flipping flicking the remote from channel to channel, which was realy doing my head in.
So this night (at the time we had one of those coke rayburn fires) & you had to go outside & we lived next to a path that cut through past our home.
He only got a shovel full of coke, put it on some paper in the lobby, took off all his clothes, walked in past me bent over & put the coke on the fire. I was mortified I thought he had gone out naked, I shouted Oh my god tell me you havn't been out there like that???? He turnd round to me with all his glory & said.............Oh now we'r talking then........... sod

Re: Raw diet from the butcher

Baloo, there was a problem with Feline Future Instincts. I'll post on it in a while, just have to check the information.

Re: Raw diet from the butcher

This is the original feline instincts company (Felice). This company still uses bone meal, not felamin, the new formulation.
The Original Feline Instincts ® Cat Food Company - The Premier Nutritional Raw Meat Diet For Cats and Dogs - Natural Homemade Diet
However, the potential health issues with long-term pre-mix feeding still apply to this company of course.
