The Purely range of cat food from Pets at home?

Im hearing more and more recomendations for this range of cat food, its looks high quality but low price, they seem to be taken more of a healthy, holistic approach with this food- The dry food comes in 40% and 80% meat content varietys (like orijens and applaws dry) and the wet tinned stuff is 50% real meats or fish, currently im feeding RC kitten 36 and applaws wet , which is costing a fortune to feed my two little ones. if i changed over it would cut my food bill in half. but forget the price for a second which would be the better foods to feed em?

It's very good, most of our cats love it. The only problem we've found is that it makes some of the younger kittens sick so we only feed it to the older kittens and adults.

After lots of research, this was the kitten food we decided to use. The ingredients sem to be a of very high quality for the price. Our kittens purr when they eat it and they didnt with the stuff we got from the previous owners.

Can I just ask those that do use it....what do you do? I give them one wet puch each and then suppliment it with the premium dry food.

Ollie was on this. He got a pouch morning and evening and biscuits left down all day .. oh and a big bowl of fresh water of course

LadyM how old are yours? kittens under a year should easily be on three pouches a day to help them grow big and strong

Ollie still has a few of the biscuits left now to use up but his main diet is now BARF so no more rubbish cooked to within an inch of its life and stuffed with 'rubbish' cat food for my boy

Yes, that's pretty much what we do. We always have Hill's or RC dry food down.

Hi there. I got very excited when I read this (oh dear ... ) I had a look at Pets at Home online, and I couldn't see an 80% meat dry food. Did you see it in an actual store? I was thinking that perhaps it is a new product not online yet ...

Re: The Purely range of cat food from Pets at home?

Tottered off to Pets at Home today in preperation for my new kittens (take 2) they are currently on whiskas kitten food but I hate it as it just looks like processed rubbish. Anyway spent a good 30 mins in the cat food aisle, I'm sure they thought I was weird and was looking at this range. I have picked some small bits up to see if the kittens fare better on it or not.

But saying that it isn't that bad a price but not sure how I will cope with having to buy for two, or I should say one normal kitten and one giant kitten
