Re: fleas...

I would contact your vet and get a flea treatment from them. They will weigh your animals and advise of the best course of action.

What i will say is that its so important to treat your house for fleas/ mites and ticks. The spray i use is from the vets (sorry i cant think of the name) its expensive to buy but it does an AMAZING job and lasts forever so it well and truely pays for itself rather than wasting money on several of the rubbish brans you buy in shops (Both animal and home treatments are RUBBISH from pet shops no matter how you look at it)

Good luck and think house treatment and then animal treatment. You need to break the cycle by killing the eggs in the carpets. There is no point treating the animals and killing adult fleas when a few days/ week later a load of eggs will hatch in the carpets and reinfest your animals.

Good luck x

Re: fleas...

I use frontline for the cats and StayKill Household Flea Spray. It's great, the only one I have bought which actually works.

Re: fleas...

I use advantage for the cats (might be advantix cant remember), its a spot on that treats for worms too. Never seen a flea on mine.

I still treat alternatly with drontol though for the worms, as theyre not all covered with the advantage.

Thats what i use as well but ive just put him on the BARF diet so need to get some Drontal for tape worm (which they can pick up if they are persistent hunters/ raw food eaters)

mine are fed a barf diet, which is one of my reasons for topping up the worming meds.
