Reputable Vet in North London?

Hi

We picked up our 2 kittens yesterday (7 weeks old). We went to view them when they were 4 weeks old firstly and they seemed in great health (not that i am a vet or anything), Now when we arrived last night to bring them home the owner said the male kitten had injured his back leg somehow (Maybe fell and twisted it). Although he was walking on it he did have a limp.

Anyway not to be dissapointed by returning home without our new pets we duely bought them (£50 each) and brought them home. His leg seemed through the evening that it was getting better which backed up the fact he maybe had just given it a bump, however today he has been crying when trying to walk and now just wants to lie down all the time.

understandably my wife wants to seek the advice of a vet today but our problem is that we dont have any experience of vets in our area ( north london) so we dont have the first clue of who is reputable or not, or should we just say to hell with it and take a chance on the first one we find? quite a dilemna really as not only do we want decent treatment for our kittens we also dont want to pay through the nose for poor treatment.

Any advice greatly appreciated

Terry
