Re: Runny poo :(

Try the Frontline pipettes that you put on the back of the neck, nicer for him and will knock any fleas on the head as long as you treat the rest of the house. I have seen cats with fleas who don't always scratch madly, check for any black specs which is the flea dirt.

Hiya

Whiskas is one of the worst cat foods you can get.

Red Flag Ingredients

By-Products. This can be Chicken by-products, Beef by-products, Meat by-products, Chicken by-product meal, and so on. Any variation of by-product is a red flag ingredient. By-products are the left-over and/or rejected animal tissues from the human food industry. By-products have little to no actual meat and often times contain diseased tissue.
Meat And Bone Meal. This is that terrible category that can contain euthanized animals including dogs and cats. As if that’s not bad enough, the ingredient also contains the drug used to euthanize the animal (pentobarbital).
Meat Meal. Same as above.
Animal Digest. Same as above
BHA/BHT. These are chemical preservatives – extremely controversial – that have links to tumors and cancer.
Ethoxyquin. Again a controversial chemical preservative linked to cancer and tumors

My cat was on Felix when i got her (only 4% meat!!!) she is now on Natures Menu (70% meat), they do kitten food. Another good brand is Tesco's finest.

Id get the kitten wormed and if you are going to change the food do it very gradually over several weeks.

A very interesting read

Cookie-run thru his fur backwards with a nitcomb-especially near his groin and you will see little black blobs(fleapoo) if he has fleas-but i would get him checked for ringworm too

Its quiet difficult for us to do that on him, he's very weird when it comes to things like that. However today we was able to get a flea collar on him, which i hope will help, and i we sprayed alil flea stuff on him (but not much, he runs away and hides)

Re: Runny poo :(

If it doesnt settle and you have him tested for everything else have your cat tested for TRITRICHOMONAS FOETUS! Testing is done on stool samples - not blood. It is a parasite that lives in the cat's colon and causes chronic foul-smelling diarrhea. The cat may cycle in and out of bouts of diarrhea to varying degrees - stools may be loose/mushy/runny/liquid/cow-pie-like, and may sometimes contain blood or mucous, and may be accompanied by gas. Otherwise, most affected cats are healthy. Studies show that this may very well be the cause of "undiagnosed" diarrhea in cats.

TF is becoming more known to vets and breeders, but there are still many who are unaware of this parasite. Most vets will test for the "usual" suspects that cause diarrhea (Worms, Giardia, Coccidia, etc.) Typically, the tests are Neg., and the diarrhea is chalked up to IBD (Irritable Bowel Disorder)and the cat is placed on a "special diet".

Its successfully treated with Ronidazole.
