Maine Coon stomach issue
My maine coon Arthur has always hay hyper sensitive stomach, i offered him a home at the age of 9 months and was told by the woman i got him from he had eaten cat litter as a kitten and this had triggered his stomach issues.
To be honest i don't believe thats the issue, i think he does just have a sensitive stomach but its hard work dealing with him.
Basically it means he eats his Royal Canin Maine coon only. Anything else, even if its just plain chicken breast etc and it goes straight through him, its not pleasant!
Because i'm so careful with him only eating his dry food i do wonder why he still managed to get the odd bout of his upset stomach.
On top of this he obviously gets the odd hair, they are normally dealt with without too much trouble but had to take emergency trip to vet over the weekend.
He's ok now and i've been told to use catalax for the hair balls. However because of his super sensitive stomach i'm wary of doing this.
Has anyone else had stomach issues with their Maine coons? Any advice for hairballs?
