The vet told me that if the blood is bright red then it is normally nothing to worry about, its only when the blood is brown/black that it could be something serious.

Good point Kelly. She is so relaxed and prob wont be stressed about the kitten coming anyway but better to be safe than sorry ey. It didnt phase her with my last kitten but I will ring the vets and see what they say. Thanks hun for pointing that out as I should of thought about that but didnt
