Question Worming Pill Question

Last night I had to worm Millie.

Last time we really struggled with the paste so I went with the tablet.

I just gave it to her like we'd give her a treat.

She ate it and went on her way - it was that easy.

Does it matter how the pill goes down or should I have tried the head back/ pop pill in/ stroke neck while trying not to get bitten approach?

We tried that the time before last and she got really stressed out and tried to bite me.

xxx

Re: Worming Pill Question

It doesn't matter as long as it's inside her.

What a clever cat you have.

Re: Worming Pill Question

No it doesnt matter, my kitty has to have 2 lots of tablets every day & I always sneak them into treats - its the only way to do it!

Re: Worming Pill Question

I'm lucky with my cat, just tilt her head back and open her mouth and drop the pill in, it makes her swallow so no crafty spitting pills out later! lol

As long as your cat has swallowed the tablet, it doesn't really matter and if you're left without injury, then bonus!
