Vaccination & New Kitten Introduction

Dear All,

I've had my kitten for about 3 weeks now and this Saturday I'm planning to bring a little sister of brother for him to play with and keep him company. Heniu had his injections last Saturday (1st course). Was just wondering if it is safe to introduce a new kitten, which is about same age 9-10 weeks to him, or shall I rather go straight to the vet befroe I bring him home. Cant really say anything about the new kitten, looks healthy tho but had no injections or been wormed as yet.

Also did you guys expereince any probelm intriducing new kitten to the household. I was just thinking it will be much better to bring one now that when Heniu is much older as they just might get on straight away.

Re: Vaccination & New Kitten Introduction

I would take the new kitten straight to the vets for flea and worming treatment at a minimum as you don't want to give your existing kiiten anything.

In terms of introductions it is normally fairly easy with kittens as they can't resist playing with each other!

Good luck and congratulations on your new kitten!

Thank you for your reply.

I'll collect him on Saturday morning and we off to the vet
