I thought you weren't supposed to mix different foods together, as the balance of vitamins and minerals wouldn't be as recommended?

I have never mixed 2 brands of food together, unless I was changing their diet and slowly introducing a dry food rather than wet?

If they are complete foods then it's fine. They are all designed to be balanced for a cat's diet (unless stated otherwise) so giving them variety is okay & helps when it comes to changing diets as they are already used to a variety.

Applaws dry food is a complete food but Applaws wet food isn't a complete food, if anyone was unaware.

No, I didn't mean for different meals - I meant together in one meal time!

I was always advised (and of course the manufacturer advises - because then you only buy their products) that you don't mix different dry food together because you wouldnt get the right balance of goodness.

I try different brands, I guess too whatever is maybe on offer, but bearing in mind that I dont want a dry food with cereal in - at the moment they have Arcana dry food inbetween meals, but usually stick to wet food from Bozita cartons.

Re: Applaws dry food

That doesn't make sense.

Complete is complete, you can't have levels of it. If mixing was harmful then one of the brands in that mix is harmful full stop.

Re: Applaws dry food

Not the adult varieties, but the kitten food is complete.
