Re: Is she eating enough!
Four mmm, 3 is normal but she would need a bit more, as the kittens take it out of her, one of my girls wont eat any dry foods royal canin james welbeloved purina unlike all the others, so she is eating 3 large cans of breeders cat food,
mind you she has always been a greedy girl, lolhope this helps,, |

Re: Is she eating enough!
As long as she is eating what you say she is-her appetite is their and she is eating and if kitts seem well nourished then i wouldn't worry to much, she may just be bored with the pouches-try her on sardines/tuna with cheese or a bit of raw beef(great for nursing queens)
Plus it could be the events of the latter 2 days catching up with her,for now i really wouldn't worry![]() |

Re: Is she eating enough!
I think four sachets is good going - don't worry about her as long as she has a good appetite - if she is feeding four kittens she will need more than she normally eats when not pregnant or nursing. Kelly has given good advice.

Re: Is she eating enough!
Mum and babies are doing great. Babies are growing already can't believe they were in her tum 5 days ago!! She is eating ok and being a superb Mum, enjoyed her sardines on Saturday! Kittens are lively and are doing laps round the box and mountaineering on Mum.
The kittens do sometimes pant a couple of times now and again and I've seen them all do it. Not worried as they seem perfectly healthy but just wondered if anyone else has seen this? |
