Sickie Kitten..

Hi, I would like some advice please!!

Alfie (14wks old) has been throwing up.. it started about a week ago with him making horrible heaving/coughin noises but nothing coming up. So got him wormed again on Monday.

Sinced then he hasn't been throwing up. But this morning he threw up but there was a bit of cat food in it this time... when he throws up it's always about 4am!

He's really lively and not looking as if he's under the weather.. his temperature was normal on Monday aswell...

Is this normal?

One of my girls is sick now and again but it never seems to bother her. Not sure if it is due to her bad start in life although sometimes its because she gets all silly and excited after she has eaten.

Re: Sickie Kitten..

The heaving coughing noise sounds like it could be furballs, might be worth getting some stuff from vets.you can buy cat food which helps prevent these building up.If he keeps on doing it better get him checked out by vet

Re: Sickie Kitten..

i use defurum hair ball paste that i get from the pet shop.
I'd also reccomend gettin a "Zoom groom" brush these are fantastic for removing more hair than all af the brushes ive ever used. i also feed my cats royal canin intense hairball.

Re: Sickie Kitten..

Bee he could just be binge eating-over gouging, eating his food too fast or eating left over wet food thats been their since his last fresh supper Try giving him a little less wet food before you both bed down-he'll be fine on water/biccies and you'll be up with brekkie soon enough
