Re: kitten info needed?

Hiya, i dont worm mine untill they are 6 weeks using panacur paste, then every 2 weeks untill they are 12 weeks old. After that i worm them monthly untill 6 months. Unless they have any signs of worms i would wait .It can knock them about abit ,i think 2 weeks is too young unless absolutley necessary.
Was mom up to date with her worming before she was pregnant?
I use frontline to flea them, its safe to use at 8 weeks as long as your kittens weigh over 1kg.

Be very careful with worming......Some meds could give a side effects to young kittens. I'd rather prefer to test mom cats - if there is any need for worming.

Re: kitten info needed?

I would worm them at 6 and 8 weeks, and then just let there new owners know what youve used.

I always worm at 2,4,6,8,+ weeks and never had any probs, also you can use frontline spray from a couple of days old.there is no weight issue with this.obviously you only need a tiny amount, and you have to let kitts dry before letting mum back in!i use panacur liquid for worming.
