Re: wet or dry food
My vet says that wet food alone is bad for cats teeth and a complete dry food is better nutrient wise and for clean teeth to prevent tarter build up.
Although Alfie prefers wet food, and I can't blame him as it's only natural for a cat to want meat! I just give Royal Canin biscuits and put a few chunks of wet food on top so he ends up eating both ![]() |

Re: wet or dry food
yeh, I'm strugging to get Alfie off the pouches (what the breeder was feeding him) I'm sure they put something in it to get cats hooked!
Alfie just meows and meows untill I give him a pouch, he just eats the dry food I leave out as and when he pleases, but I'd prefer to just keep him on the Royal Canin dry!

Re: wet or dry food
Just out of interest, what dry foods would you recommend feeding cats? We've got two moggies, both between a year and a year and a half old...
Also.. how often do you feed raw meat? and where do you get it from? Is supermarket stuff OK... or am I a tool for suggesting such a thing ![]() Reading through a few threads, I don't really want to feed my cats cans anymore ![]() |
