Fingers & toes crossed sweetie, don't feed lil one dry food,or too much fish when lil one return's all better. Mine has kidney probs, so good luck to you, keep us informed.

Bless all of you for your advice & concern. Vet rang about an hour ago and gave lots of good advice. He said the twitching is likely to be irritation as the stitches shift, perhaps tighten, and so on. Nothing to worry about, unless there's swelling actually ON or very NEAR the wound site, rather than around it (if so she may have popped her internal stitches - we've tried to keep her still but she can go bananas sometimes, esp if a fly zooms past).

She's slept all day, again. I feel like it's a constant vigil - stopping her picking her stitches, and watching all her twitches (there's a song in there somewhere...)

thats good that it is nothing to worry about at least if she is sleeping she is healing
