Best diet for kitten?
Hi,
Has anyone got any advice as to what they think is the best kitten food.. wet & dry that a kitten will enjoy and also be nutritionally sufficient? Alfie's (13wks) on whiskers jelly pouches and royal canin kibble at the moment (this is what the breeder has had him on) I've never been a big fan of whiskers (Alfie never looks too thrilled by it either!) What are peoples suggestions? |

Re: Best diet for kitten?
The RC biccies are good, but I wouldnt feed Whiskas as it is very rich for the digestive system. I feed felix pouches and also cooked fish or chicken from time to time

Re: Best diet for kitten?
IMO Orijen is the best out there, we feed our 6/7 month olds on Orijen and raw meat.
Orijen is a biologically appropriate food so it is suitable for cats and kittens alike, it's 75% meat, 25% fruit & veg, no grains. Whiskers pouches are like feeding a McDonalds to a child everday!! ![]() Last edited by dh.dti; 17-04-2008 at 07:02 PM.. |
