New kittens

Hi I collected our new kittens on Tuesday, they came from a local rescue. They had their first jabs on Monday. Today Jet is sneezing alot. Do you think it could just be the injection passing through his system or could it be anything else, Oh yeah they are 9 weeks old, and have been hand reared.

Re: New kittens

I think that sneezing could be caused by many things, if he's getting his nose into everything (like most kittens do) it could be due to that. It may be caused by dust (not saying you have a dusty house!) or if he plays with feather toys. Or it could be some kind of respitory infection maybe?? xx

Re: New kittens

Thanks, I guess it may be that he is into everything at the moment. He is still bright eyed and eating, so I think I will just keep an eye on him

Re: New kittens

You do sometimes see the odd symptom like that after vaccination, especially if its a live virus. Just keep an eye on it, it should disappear after a few days without having developed into anything. If not, then a trip back to the vets to be on the safe side is the best course of action.
