homes for homeless
My brother moved into family home after parents died (supposed to be temporary). We did not realize he was what is called a "collector". Now it is time to move him and the house is full of semi to wild cats/kittens. We don't know what to do and he keeps bringing in more. In past some have died and we have had to go and remove them. I am very careful because I have two cats of my own and do not want to bring any illness home to them. The buyer is upset and we have made promises to clean up but can't get brother to make other arrangements for the cats. We have had to remove all carpet and a lot of furniture. He was keeping only a small litter box big enough for one or two cats at most. I put a child's wading pool in a room with a rubber sheet under it and filled it with good litter and left several large buckets to replace it with but he refuses. He told me I was causing him a lot of work. After clearing soiled carpets and scrubbing wood underneath with bleach I nailed several rooms shut but he has opened them again and the cats have been back in those rooms. I don't know what to do with all those cats and how to clean after they are gone. Any suggestions?
