Another question on cat toiletting

Bit of a strange and v. possibly stupid question but have just given my tigger his last meal of the day and within moments of finishing it he vomitted it all up again.

Never seen such a big pile of cat sick (sorry, eeeewww, I know)

As this is the first time he's ever done this, I'm hoping that the vomitting occured because he had some pretty rich food today but just read that vomitting can often go hand in hand with diarrhea (sp?)

Here's the strange question then - he hasn't used his littler tray for about two weeks now and does all of his toiletting outside , how do I know if he has diarrhea?

Do you guys in the same boat just keep yours in until they've done their 'business' so you can check or are there other signs as well?

Many thanks in advance for any advice/comments

Re: Another question on cat toiletting

Sounds like he wolfed it down too fast - is that the case?

Yes I think so - plus he had prawns, whiskas cheese flavour treats and a small piece trimmed off the end of our steaks. Shouldn't have let him have all that. He seems fine in himself today and no further sickness but keeping an eye on him all the same
