Hi all,

My kitten is now 7 weeks old and is a happy little fellow, I think.
He is at times vocal when he is hungry or lonely, but when I play with him I often get a response of a silent meow.
His other 'meows' are not particularly highly pitched, as I've read that some kittens meow at a pitch not audible to humans.
Anyone else come across a kitten who meows silently at times? Usually it is during a time I am very close to him, petting him or when he jumps up to me on my bed.
Any idea what this silent meow means?
