Re: Broken Pelvis

At least you didn't kill her, I have accidentally killed cats three times, it feels really awful.

I did have a cat sustain a broken pelvis last year, but it was only a single break. I kept her caged in an Atlas 40 for three weeks, felt dreadful about that, but she made a total recovery.

Re: Broken Pelvis

Our Toby was hit by a car and had a broken ankle and hip. Following surgery he was supposed to be caged for a month but it was SO hard! After a week we just started to let him "mooch" around when we were home and popped him in the cage at night and when we were out. He seemed to know his limitations and didn't try and jump up or go outside. He is great now (this happened in december) so hopefully your kitty will be great too!! One of my other cats is always under or behind my car and it worries me to death - I'm sure the neighbours think I'm bonkers the way I check all round before I get in!! Good luck and don't feel bad please
