sophie 1 is on a distinguished road
nail clippers for cats

could any one recommend suitable clippers to use for a cats nails. have seen on ebay some by pedi paws (as seen on tv) it says. any good? also would need them to cut a young kittens nails

To be honest I use human nail clippers lol. They are easier to handle than the pet ones which can be quite awkward and some can split the nails.

I have some Mikki cat nail clippers and they are excellent - they're a bit like scissors and are very easy to use.

i use human ones - they work really well and are easy to use.

Think I might be using the same as you, there brilliant, easy to use and they dont split the nail

Be carefull with human nail clippers, I used them once when I couldnt find mine, I accidently nicked the paw pad! Never again!

whatever i use seems to split simbas claws, might ask the vet next time what they use they cut his claws when he had the snip and that was the best no jagy bits at all. come to think of it i may ask them to do them for me he's getting to be a bugger i got really scratched last time.
