Question Kittens from same litter & worming

Hello all, new here, need advice please!

I've recently got two male kittens from the same litter - I've only ever had one cat at a time before now. The two have quite different temperaments, Jimmy being an attention-seeke, very naughty and eats more. Boo is more sedate and doesn't eat nearly as much as his brother. They were the same size when we got them about a month ago (they're 3 months old now), but since then Jimmy has raced ahead and is about twice the size of Boo.

Anyway, the other day I noticed a worm in Jimmy's poop. Today I gave them a worming treatment and I'm hoping the problem will go away. The thing is, since I've noticed the worms, Boo has seemed to be less active then normal and more tired, although his poop seems worm-free. Jimmy on the other and is still full of beans and eating lots, despite being the kitty with worms. Is all of this normal? Sorry if this seems silly but there' such a difference is size/behaviour between them...I just don't know if it's all regular. Is there any chance Boo is being adversly affected by Jimmy's condition? Or is it perfectly normal for there to be such differences between them? Help a worried kitty-mother out!!

Re: Kittens from same litter & worming

Its quite likely that they both have worms, kittens should be treated reguarly(weeks 2,4,6,8,10,12,16,20 etc) use a veterinary wormer like drontal ,panacur or mibelmax.Avoid sherleys, bob martin and other supermarket brands.worms can cause substantial damage to intestines/stomach etc if untreated.
