Kitten has runny poop!

Our 8 week old kitten seems to have semi-runny poop.

Its not diarrhoea as he is still pooping regularly - its just slightly runny and he tends to get it on his feet a bit as he covers up the poop.

He is on Whiskas dry kitten food and I make sure his water is changed at least twice a day.

He seems otherwise healthy, bright eyed, playful, purrs loads - just the poop problem.

Any thoughts please?

Yes, get him off whiskas and dry wet foods like hi life with a better meat contenct. Whiskas isn't great, full of colours and other rubbish.

Re: Kitten has runny poop!

Hey!

I have a 5 mos old kitten who is having a similar issue. we are feeding him organic food called Blue (in the US not sure where you are...)

I would first consult your vet before doing this: we have started giving little Edward (the Bengal cat) a very minimal amount of canned pumpkin. It has seemed to do the trick, firms up the "stuff" ...

best of luck-
