Antibotics side effects :help

All of my cats are well again, thanks to every one who wished them well.
Only problem is lilly now has diarreah, she is squatting and penny size blobs come out . very dark brown and no solid formed one i can tell as yet.I have to keep washing her bottom, not helping artiritus being damp all the time also her bedding too.She is not using her tray and is doing it any where she likes.
Iv moved her upstaires, put her on another type of food, just in case it is that.Is she constipated of have the antibiotics upset her tummy??
Thanks in advance

Re: Antibotics side effects :help

antibiotics can cause diarhoea. guess because antibiotics are killing the bacteria, they are also killing the friendly bacteria. this will cause an imbalance in the gut.

CONSTIPATED.Vet had lilly in and washed out a hard pice akin to the size of a bulls eye marble!! and at 3.12am lily was telling us how much she appreciated being well again, purring and licking OH ear lol.
Full house bloods gave all clear to liver and kidney function still awaiting results of T4.
