Wondering if anyone can help?
Hey, I'm wondering if anyone can help me here.
I'm not sure if this question is in the right forum though My kitten is 6 months old. For the past couple of days she seems to be acting sort of differently from her usual self. She's a bit more affectionate than usual, but a bit less playful. She's been crying and meowing a lot more. Today it seemed like she was howling. And her bottom is slightly red. She is also a bit more restless. I think she may be in heat? Are my thoughts correct? Is she at an age to be in heat? Does anyone have any advice? iD SAY SHES CALLING MATE AND COMING INTO HER SEASON BY THE SOUND OF IT. yES THEY CAN START AROUND NOW. tHEY CAN CALL FOR A FORTNIGHT OR SO. aND IT WILL REPEAT IT SELF UNTIL MATED OR NEUTERED.

She does sound as though she is calling. Advice wise, keep her in away from any entire males (external or internal). Wait until she has finished her call and book her in to be spayed if she is not going to be a breeding queen.
