Poor Baby glad he is back and safe they are such a worry at this age my girl is 17 years.

Just an update. Came downstairs this morning to find Tigger had died overnight.

He was about 19 so had a good life. RIP Tigger - will miss you loads xxx

Oh my god Im so sorry. R.I.P.

I also wanted to inform others who have been reading this post that yes it is true cats wander off to die. Dont ask me why but I know this for fact due to my Nans cat and a friends cat and Vet said this was normal behaviour for Cats.

Im so sorry for your loss xxxx

My Nan's cat did the same at approx 20+ years old

RIP Tigger. Glad he fell asleep at home and spent his last day perked up

Oh dear what a day of mixed emotions for you. I am so sorry your cat has gone. 19 years is a fantastic age so you must have cared for him very well.

My mums last cat had gone deaf and blind and she wandered off to die. It sounds like your boy was going to do that but came home to say goodbye and be with you.

So sorry.
