how to move on

Both cats are happy to eat raw meat now - still only in the evenings as out during the day and Bilbo has a habit of catching at least 1 piece a night on his tooth and me having to get it off. Just not sure how to move on in terms of bone. As said both more than capable of chewing through bigish bits - beef and turkey being the favouite.

Try some small raw chicken wings first off. They should be easy enough for them to chew down. After that you can then move onto things like chicken necks, rabbit ribs, small lamb ribs (with the nobbly end cut off). I dont give my cats big bones to eat other than those mentioned. They still get alot of bone though as my butcher sticks them through the mincer

Great that they like the raw!

Just buy some chicken wings, take one and cut it up where the joints are to make them smaller, then bash it a little with a big knife to make the bone easier to chew, then give it to them.

If they're anything like my cat, they'll sniff and lick it a little, then ignore it

Just hang in there and keep offering it every day until they get the idea - it did take a few months for mine, but now he picks out the bony pieces first to eat every time
