Unhappy Natures diet, help please?

Hi, my eldest cat Milo who is 18months has been on the hills c/d diet for about 6 months due to passing blood following crystals in his bladder. However I feel that he's not really getting the best nutritional content from these and worry that the diet will send his ph of urine the other way?!
So I was thinking of changing him onto natures diet wet pouches, has anyone used these before or has any opinon on them or what I could feed him? As to be honest I'm a bit confused and tended to follow what the vet told me to use?
Please help as I really want the best for him, as he's already had to suffer and he's still only young.
Thank you

Re: Natures diet, help please?

My dog has it too and it's great but no idea about cats. I would think it's the same quality and nutritional values just a bit more "cat orientated"

Kiskasiberians will become famous soon enough
Re: Natures diet, help please?

Nature Diet only do a dog food so no this would be no good for cats as it does not have some of the key nutrients for a cats diet.

If you mean any of the ones in the above post or Natures Harvest then they are all ok for cats. Although I personally wouldn't feed Natures Best as it does noy have an high enough meat content

my mistake I meant natures menu!! that's what night shifts do to me ha ha!
Thank you all for your input.
DT I was thinking of putting my new puppy on natures diet, do you feed just that to your dogs, and I believe you get it from berriwoods, are they reliable?
Thanks again all

Re: Natures diet, help please?

i use natures menu as the bulk of my wet feeding (along with hi-life and applaws and occasionally tesco finest and raw) and it's great. mine aren't as keen on the red packets but still eat it. you can buy it in bulk from Natures Menu Natural Dog Food & Natural Cat Food | Feeding as Nature Intended cheaper than pets @home.

tures menu is a good food although i dont have that much experience with it. My cats are on a primarily raw diet, with AG biccys. When i do feed wet (prior and during holidays etc) I use forthglade, which you can also get from berriewoods.

Nature Diet is a complete food for dogs, my pup billy is on it along with some raw meaty bones a few times a week to keep his teeth in good shape. I cant reccomend it enough , and its thanks to DT that i discovered it. Get a couple of packs from a petshop first and if ok, then get it in bulk from berriewoods, much much cheaper that way!

DT i believe (she will be along in a bit to verify) feeds a combo of Arden Grange biccys and naturediet.

Hope that helps xx
