Re: Spaying Prices

I popped to the vet yesterday for some panacur paste and noticed the price of spaying has gone up to £67!!!

That's a £20 increase since 1st April!! There is a small vet practice where we used to stay so I am going to contact him for a price.............. I wouldn't put a price on my cat's health, but £20 is a BIG increase, castration has also gone up by about £10

Re: Spaying Prices

My vets charges £49 as a starting point but then it varies by weight and so how much of the drugs they need.
Not sure if this has already been mentioned but are you by any chance on benefits or a student so you could get help from the cats protection league?

Re: Spaying Prices

£54!!!

There's a neuter clinic near here, but out of the way, advertising it at £26 but with surgery hours being so inconvenient for full time workers & it being out of the way I have to pay more than double. I don't even particularly like the expensive surgery.
