Watery eye

I have a 12 week old kitten who has a chronic 'teary' eye. It is fine for long periods, but just starts up watering for no reason. The vet has looked at it and said that there is no infection or inflammation in the eye so there is basically nothing she can do - I should just wipe the tears away.

I am glad it doesn't seem to be a serious problem, but at the same time I am really frustrated! I am a breeder (this is my first litter), and although I have people who want to buy this little boy (he is so gorgeous, and perfect in every other way!) I feel I can't sell him with this problem.

Has anyone experience of this problem and can give me any advice?

Re: Watery eye

is it a blocked tear duct?? if the people are happy to have him,and are aware of his problem why not let him go.
