Does your outdoor cat get ticks?
What is the best way to protect?

Re: ticks

I believe Frontline kills ticks. This is what I use and my moggy has never had a tick.

Re: ticks

Gizmo gets ticks - we call him Tickety Boo My vet says Frontline isn't totally effective against them and says the best thing is just to remove them. I'm quite handy with tick removing tweezers When my daughter was small she asked me to take the ticks off a hedgehog!

Re: ticks

Frontline Combo is the only tick protection from ticks (not Frontline spray or spot on) Even with Combo the ticks will still get on and bite but will die and fall off with in a few days. You can get a tick remover from your vets and you can purchase Combo from your vets too
