Pro - Kolin
Hiya
I'm after tips
Henry has had a bout of the trots, and a faecal sample is with the vets for assessment, but they have given me antibiotics (tablets) and Pro-Kolin to administer and I'm struggling with the Pro-Kolin to get it in him.
Part of the problem is that I have a weakened immune system (chemo) so am not allowed to get scratched by him (and need to get the diaorrhea stopped asap) , so am running out of ways to get it in him without a fight. The vet says to do what I can then stop as the risk to me from his scratches is worse than the risk to him of not getting the Pro-Kolin, but I would like to do the best by him if I can.
I've tried wrapping him in a towel, in food, pointing it in his mouth, on my finger to lick off, and no luck.... Any ideas? Other food or medicine ideas even? He will take tablets at a push but the P-K is just awful to administer....
