Hi I have a 12 year old tabby cat who has had a couple of episodes of shaking. It seems to start at her tail and work its way up her body lasting for about 5 or 10 mins. She doesnt have worms or fleas. She did get run over about 5 years ago and badly damaged her back leg, which doesnt move correctly leaving her with a bit of a limp, probably not related. Any ideas on what could be the cause of this shaking.

I would suggest a visit to the vets firstly really. It could be something minor - perhaps some trapped nerve but I really would suggest taking her to the vet sooner rather than later.
