Rash under the chin

Hi
I have a british cream and she has a black rash under the chin. She has had this a couple of times before and i have taken her to the vets.
The vet called it impetigo and gave me a course of tablets and also various creams.
The tablets we just cannot get down her. We have tried everything over the years. Also the creams have not worked that well.

So i just wonderd if anybody knows of a safe cream that can help this rash.
She is 15 years old today and gets really up set going to the vet

She will only let me look at it when she's half asleep. Bless her!

Any advice will be much appricated.

Thanks

Re: Rash under the chin

Can't help you on treatment except to say working with children i see impetigo alot we treat with antibiotics which were probably the tablets you were given before.
AND a bit caution impetigo is HIGHLY infectious make sure anyone who touches her washes their hands welleek: ive known them to come in when everyone in the family has it.
