Poorley Nervous cat
Hi there,
My mothers cat has been poorley for three weeks she was consipated for two, the vet prescribed Liquid Parrafin and after three days all worked with a blast, now the cat seems to have littl balance with her back legs and is very nervous (not her usual happy self), she was never a very affectionate cat but now seems to only be content with humans, She still purrs thou?? She eats and drinks ok, but toilet uses are minimal She is a farm cat and loves outside but she is now over at my house as it is warm, she has been here for about 8 hours and seems better but i am very concerned that her nervous system is shot She also has liquid parrafin all over her neck messy application, she is trying to clean it off but its not moving, any suggestions would be gratly apprecited Sorry for the long winded Q?, Pete |

Re: Poorley Nervous cat
HI all and thanks for your responses,
I wasn't there when she was given the dose, I believe the vet prescibed it as a very last chance "Do or Die" , We have bathed the cat and she has eaten lots, she is less nervous and more lively today, but no toilet today thats 24hours now :-( She is going back home tonight and to the vets tomorrow, hoping that he doesn't give up on her Pete |
