Cat Food

Hello Peeps,

Having made the final and difficult decision to hand Billy over to our neighbours round the corner on a more permanent basis the little so and so (following an abcess and £450 vet bill) has decided he still quite likes it here and has been coming and going since i got back from the vet with him yesterday.

It is going ok with the puppy too, playful but not aggressive and Billy gave him a bat on the nose when he got close. I don't expect he will hang around and will probably drift back to the other place but i am not going to discourage him.

Anyway what i wanted to know is can i give him some of Oscars puppy food this morning until i get to the shops.

I gave half a bag of food to his new owners and don't have any in the house,

Re: Cat Food

Hey

If it's just a one-off until you can get to the shops today it'll be fine.

Although, if he's just had an operation it may be better to just wait until you've been to the shop and then give him some proper food, to avoid stressing his system even more?

If you have some tuna or fish around the house you can give him that until you get to the shop. Or any raw meat will be great too

Re: Cat Food

Going to the shop is not even compulsory! (this is my own personal opinion!) to make sure, give a try to these homemade cat recipes
Generally speaking when it comes to homemade cat food, your choices are either a raw diet or mixed cooked foods, either one will work fine, it only depends on what your cat was accustomed to eat, and neither diet will hurt, given that you follow some guidelines
