found a lump

i know before i start that everyone is going to say take him to the vets lol, but i only just felt this lump, i will book him in tomorrow...

Just wonderd if this sounds common

its on his left front leg, and its a funny shape, kinda like a ragged rectangle, all lumps ive felt on other animals have been pretty much round
Its not hurting him when i touch it, but it does have 3 long hairs growing out of it, they look kinda like whiskers.

Any ideas on what this might be? nothing to worry about im hoping

Re: found a lump

Is it a lump under the skin or a swelling?

Re: found a lump

Are the hairs black? Could it be a bite or a tic lump?

yes the hairs are black although he is a black cat lol.
it does appear to have gone down quite a lot today....
so im unsure if it needs to be checked out or not.

Should i leave it another day see if it totally vanishes?

Re: found a lump

I wouldn't - if it is a tick bite it will very likely end up infected - best get it checked whilst you can.
