Yes i hope its just a tic too. Some flea treatments kill tics so it should have done. but glad you are getting it checked.

My previous Yorkie used to get loads of them when we lived down South.

Good Luck.

Re: found a lump

Just catching up on the posts. We had a "Tick removal" visit last month and got a handy little gadget for future use. Neither of them had any reaction to the Tick after they had been removed - according to the vet its only if the tick falls off of its own accord that there is a possibilty of infection.

Hope it goes well tomorrow morning.

Re: found a lump

UPDATE:

been to vets, its not a tick, but hes not sure what it is.....
he said it could be from an injury, or just growing tissue, and hes not concerned as its not bothering Diesel in the slightest, he then said, if it gets any bigger, or Diesel is biting at it or scratting, to take him straight back and they will wip it off....apparently a lot of animals get random lumps and its just excess tissue

worry over!

Re: found a lump

Thats good news then. Fingers crossed that it goes away of its own accord & that another vet visit is not required.
