My cat may have cystitis

Can anyone help me until tomorrow.
I will take him to the vets first thing.
Noticed my male cat is passing urine with blood in it.
Found a few places he has been going on my tiled bathroom floor.
It is yellow but has blood in it.
He has had this once before ages ago.
I have no cat tablets in the house.
Is there anything i can give him to help the chap.
Any thoughts on this would be very welcome cheers

Re: My cat may have cystitis

Hi

can you phone the emergency vet to talk it over? When I found blood in urine I took H straight in as an emergency but he has bladder stones...

I would try to make sure he drank as much as poss (to flush through) - even putting extra water down, and not feed him in the morning incase the vet needs to do anything...

Thanks

He is ok in himself.
Eating drinking etc.
Ages ago he had it so bad he could not pass water, but he is not that bad.
Just was wondering if i could give him anything to tie him over until the morning.
