Sounds to me like she may have fleas and that what you see is flea droppings - they contain a lot of blood so turn red when damp, which it would be in your bathroom I assume.
Might be worth putting a white sheet of paper under your cat and rub her fur, see if anything drops from it - that's what my vet did when he checked mine for fleas. If you can see small black spots on the paper she's probably got fleas and needs some treatment for it. That's my thought anyway, hope it helps ![]()

I hadn't thought of that! If they are flea droppings then that means that the Frontline has stopped working and I guess it's off to the Vet we go Will give the paper sheet a try in the morning - bless her she's zonked out on the bed now - hope she's left me enough room lol. |
