If you read the information on the FAB website, this will confirm what I've said (I don't expect anyone to believe me, I've only owned cats for 27 years, been breeding for 19 years and have always taken a particular interest in feline disease and treatment, being a biochemist myself - nothing of any use really) The information on the FAB site is written by feline specialist vets, so I reckon they know what they're talking about.........
I hope that isnt aimed at me as I havent said anything to you neither has anyone else.

I am only saying what I have read & what I have been told and if someone else says seomthing different cant we ask questions? How comes Vets dont klnow about it?

so is my vet wrong can they get over it? and it not be in their system anymore? how long does this take for them to get over it? hoe does this happen? Can you giveme the website link so I can pass it onto my friend please, thanks!

Re: calicivirus

Hi, this is the link to the FAB information sheet for breeders on cat flu.
cat flu - information for breeders

it is well worth bookmarking the FAB site - there is masses of fantastic information on there.

I don't know why vets don't know about it - but they often don't know things that breeders know. Vets have to know a bit about a lot of different animals, whereas cat breeders only need to know a lot about cats
