you should be able to get it from your vet

most of the other spot ons dont do tapeworm, or only do tapeworm and miss out all the others.

its not cheap but i use it all the time on my loving Maine coon ho turns into a ball of teeth and claws at the mere sight of a tablet!!

hope that helps.
Many thanks for your reply...can Profender not be bought online?

Re: IS THERE a DECENT SPOT ON WORMER?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT USE BOB MARTIN!!!!!!!

even the cat one, and def. not the spray

they claim its safe, but at best it wont work and you are out of pocket and at worst your cat will die from pymetherin poisoning which is known to be toxic to cats yet they still put it in bob martin cat products.

i am soo fed up of seeing cats fitting after being poisoned with this horrible stuff IMHO it should be banned.

Re: IS THERE a DECENT SPOT ON WORMER?

you may be able to get profender online but *legally* your vet would need to do a prescription for it for you to get it as it is a POM-V product.

its probably best to get it from your vets.

BUT.......

i would check the prices online and then take them to your vet and ask if they can match it. sometimes practices cant even buy the products for the price the online guys are selling for so they may not be able to match it, but they may well drop their price, especially if you have lots of cats so will be buying a lot!

Good luck

I never use any shop bought wormers or flea treatments anyway as they are not affective.

Re: IS THERE a DECENT SPOT ON WORMER?

Droncit Spot-On is a worm only spot on that doesn't require prescription.

There is also Advocate but that is a flea and wormer spot on (doesn't do ticks) but does require a prescription.
