Any tips on giving bengal a bath?

Hi

Just bought home Nemo from the Breeder and well, he stinks! so I'm planning on buying some cat shampoo tomorrow and giving him a bath.

I've only ever given a Persian a bath and she loved it and would even tip her head back into the shower spray and rock her head side to side and purr away. I'm not expecting to be that lucky and I also used a special persian shampoo from the vets.

What I'm basically asking is-
Is their a way to make him get in the bath calmy and not fight?
What shampoo should I use?
Also, any other tips on bathing him.

Thanks

Re: Any tips on giving bengal a bath?

I have 3 Bengal X kittens aged 7 months now, and they love water, in fact I thought they were ducks (lol).
Everytime I go to a bathroom for either a shave, to wash hands etc, their is at leas one cat! They even come into the shower !!

Have fun!

Lots of bengals actually love water, my girly Betula isnt a huge fan but she doesnt mind it at all. Just give you kitty lots of praise and try and make it an enjoyable thing! Good Luck!!
