Alfie's bottom troubles.....

Well his diarrhea cleared up last week, and i nearly cried when he did a solid poo lol!

I've just been feeding him applaws & RC kitten biscuits which seemed to work, but once at the weekend, and then last night he did a runny poo!? Yet he has done a little solid one this morning??

I've had a chat with my vet and she suggested giving him some Pro-Kolin, which again i did do and i think it helped initially.

I'm confused as to why sometimes he'll do a runny poo, and then the other times he does a solid one? I havent changed his food, and he was wormed/flead over 3 weeks ago. He doesnt go outside so doesnt hunt food, and he is eating and drinking normally?

Like people lots of things can change the consistency of their poo. If his digestive system has been a bit delicate recently he could have eaten more than it could cope with. He may have felt stressed about something that caused it. There are any number of reasons. I would say don't worry if its like that on odd occasions but in between he does solid ones. Easier said than done when its a much loved baby though.
