Cat Diseases - can anyone help?

My next assignment for college is doing a leaflet pursuading owners to vaccinate their cats for the diseases;

Calicivirus (Cat Flu)
Rhinotracheitis (Herpes)
(I'm a little confused about this one - that's how it's set out in the assignment brief, but when I've looked online it says it's aka feline influenza, isn't that cat flu ??? ???)
Leukaemia

Seeing as the leaflet can only be A4 size, my idea was to put some pictures of cats with each disease, explain a little about it, the symptoms etc and how it's treated...

I've found pictures of cat flu, but the others seem a little hard to find...

Does anyone know of any websites that could help please?

Thanks hun,

I don't understand why I need to cover both calici and herpes if they're the same thing really but hey ho... lol.

I've got all the info I need on the diseases, just needed some pictures!

They're not the same, they are very different flu strains. There is only one strain of herpes and the symptoms are usuallly much more obvious and severe and can be lethal in unvaccinated cats. Once a cat catches it it can carry and potentially shed the virus and infect other cats for the rest of it's life. As well as the flu respiratory symptoms cats can have herps type lesions on their faces too.
Calici also produces flu symptoms, and also possible secondary bacterial infections [eg conjunctivitis and pneumonia] but there are hundreds [maybe 1000s] of strains of calici and it can be cleared in some cats, but it can mutate between cats in a household and it is possible to catch it again. A few cats who catch it will be life long carriers also. Cats can have the respiratory symptoms, and also ulcers in their mouths and gums and some can have the complication of gingivitis that can be very severe in some cases.

Aha! Thank you for the info. I don't think I'm going to like this assignment, the pictures are awful poor little things.
