I was watching GMTV this morning and can't believe the chaos to be honest. I think the UK have such a hard time dealing with it, we have snow here all the time during the winter, if it was like the UK I wouldn't be able to go out but Im happy to say the paths and roads are cleared all the time and everything continues as normal.

You're right - other places carry on as normal no matter how much snow there is! Problem is because we don't get it here all that often we're not set up for it. Local Authorities are running out of grit for the roads and people aren't used to driving on snow & ice so have lots of accidents!!!

The kids are enjoying the time off school, but I hope things are back to normal next week because I have had to let down clients in my job this week and that's not really on!

It really throws a spanner in the works when the schools aren't open,especially if you work, I hope everything is back to normal (whats that lol) next week.
