Then i tried pinning my tom down and popping it at back of his mouth only to get my fingers bit...then im sure he glued his mouth shut....anyway ive been thinking of taking a trip to the vet today and seeing if they have any more solutions, i know theres a pill administrator gadget that may do it ...anyone used it???....and i wonder if the XL tabs are too big???
If people are finding the tablets too big, why wouldn't you just break them in half or even smaller?

Re: Worming options

Hi,

The tabs are too big for my queens as they dont need a full one, i had broken them in half one for each queen but they just will not take them hence crushing them up and putting them in the corned beef but she came wise and stopped eating it.

Then with my tom i dont think it mattered what size the tablet was there was no getting it in there...well not without a trip to hospital after

I bought a load too from one of the pet med sites so looks like im gonna have to sort this one out one way or the other

The links i gave on my first post on here have different worming products. I had to buy a liquid solution for one of my cats once because there was no-one on this earth that would ever have been able to get a tablet down him without being attacked. He could even smell the crushed up tablet in his food. So had to resort to a liquid wormer which i bought from one of those sites i listed and fortunately i won the battle...lol.
